It is not the critic of Chiropractic who counts
Not
the insurance companies, or the medical doctors or the poor ignorant
citizens of your community who point out how the strong chiropractors
have stumbled, or where the protester for truth and the protector of
health and wellness could have done better.
The
credit belongs to the one who is actually in the adjusting arena, whose
face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly to
adjust everyone. Who may err and come up short again and again, but
knows great enthusiasm and great devotion. The chiropractor spends
himself in a worthy cause and, at best, knows in the end the triumph of
high achievement.
And who, at worst, knows if he
fails, at least he fails while DARING GREATLY, so that Chiropractic
shall never be with those timid souls who know neither victory nor
defeat.
